Korean Internet Still Fastest

Korea still has the fastest internet speed in the world (as of 2014 Q3) according to Statista, a German research company.

The average Internet speed of South Korea is 25.3Mbps, 5.6 times faster than the world average 4.5Mbps.

South Korea was followed by Hong Kong, Japan, Switzerland, Sweden, Netherlands, Ireland, Latvia, the Czech Republic, and Singapore.

KCON 2015 Heads to Japan in April

CJ E&M announced that the 2015 KCON music festival and pop culture convention will take place at the Saitama Super Arena in Japan on April 22.

KCON was first held in California, USA, in 2012 and has been held every year since. It’s one of the biggest, if not the biggest K-pop events outside of Korea.

Korean Tourist Police

In an effort to provide assistance and improved conveniences for international visitors coming to Korea, the tourist police service is in place at major tourist attractions in Seoul, Busan and Incheon.
